| Quote: |
1. Our plant and dream will grow together!
2. Our plants and dreams will grow together!

In above quote, what's the difference between #1 and #2?
Thanks. |

| What do you think the difference is? (Consider it carefully for a while.) |

I think the meaning of the sentences can be different in context.
I think # 1 can be used in context, "There is a plant in the classroom. Our plant and dream will grow together....."
But I don't know that #1 can be used in context, "There are 5 plants in the classroom. Our plant and dream will grow together ...."
In this case, I think it is wrong.
Thank you. |

Why are you considering context now? Is there some special context or should we just look at what the sentences say?
The sentences talks about "our plant(s)". Are our plants in a classroom? |
