Hello, teachers!!
(1) This book is difficult for a pupil to read.
(2) This book is difficult for pupils to read.

Which is better, (1) or (2)?
Thank you in advance. |

| Both are fine. In the singular, the focus is on any student. In the plural, the focus is on the group of students. But the meaning is the same either way. |
