Hello, teachers!!
A good tale is none the worse for being twice told.
----->
May I say (2)?
A good tale is none the less for being twice told.
Thank you in advance. |

No; they don't mean the same thing. If you want to use "none the less," you could say:
A good tale is none the less enjoyable for being twice told.
A good tale, twice told, is nonetheless enjoyable.
Nonetheless, a good tale is none the worse for being twice told. _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |
