Could someone help me?
What doess "I'll give him that" mean in this comment?
This is about Cadbury's CM.

Phil Collins said: "The gorilla's not as good a drummer as me but he's got more hair, I'll give him that."

It means: in this particular argument or in this point of comparison, the other person wins that point and I give him the victory.

In the particular example you mention, Phil says that he is the better drummer, but if you compare which has more hair, the gorilla wins. (Phil Collins doesn't have much hair upstairs.)
