Dear teachers,
Can you tell me when proof is used as a countable noun and when as an uncountable noun? For example,
He was the only person in the room when the money disappeared---- what more ____ do you want?
The answer is"proof", I wonder if "proofs" is right.

"Proof" is almost always uncountable. It will only be countable if you're talking about mathematical proofs.
