Hi,
In the coming string/summer I will finish my vocational school. So I'm considering about going in a foreign country for about 1 year.
But I'm not sure what I could do there. The most important thing for me is to learn the language and the culture. Buy I should earn some money there, too (for living there this time). The typical and only easy jobs I know are Au-pair and waiter.
Do you have some more ideas and hints for me, what I could do in a foreign country to earn some money and to learn the language?
And do you have experiences with living in another country for such a long time? Unfortunately I have no one
And where could a student live cheaply?
PS: I had the idea to go to an English language school, but it costs, too. So it would be necessary to earn money...
Best regards,
LeBron |

Hi LeBron,
Regulations vary for different countries. For example, in Canada you may be able to get a special work visa if you are from certain countries. You can fin dthe list at www.cic.gc.ca
If you are not, you need to have a job offer from an employer and then apply to the government for a work permit.
Good luck,
