Dear teachers,
Can you help me with the following exercise?
I support you. I'll always be ____ to you for what you've done.
A. peaceful B. secure C. grateful D. copanion
The answer is companion. But we know "companion" is a countable noun, why there is no "a" here?Is the exercise badly set or "be companion to" a set phrase?
Thank you! |

The correct answer is not "companion" but "grateful." _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |
