Hi Everybody,

can we say SECTION-DIVIDED WOMEN APPAREAL CATALOGUE - sections being tops, trousers, sleepwear etc?

Also, how to say

I guess so, but it doesn't exactly tell us what is meant by sections. It could be physical sections of the actual catalogue. But I don't have that many problems with the basic idea.

However, we need to change "women appareal" to "women's apparel".

Or a "Women's Apparel Catalogue" divided into sections (or categories)

I think you can just call it a women's apparel catalogue, which implies that it has all sorts of apparel listed or depicted, in different sections. If it did not have the products sorted by type, it would just be a haphazard collection of goods, not a catalogue. No?

I agree, now I come to think of it. The use/inclusion of the word "catalogue" does indeed imply something sorted into sections. That's perhaps why "divided" feels awkard in the original example - it could be redundant in the phrase.
