Hi,
This may be a bit strange. I'd like to know if there exists such a term/word/phrase to describe the following state.
Someone persists doing things (i.e. pursuing his dreams, abiding by his principles) without caring about what other people may expect from him. It seems he is stubborn. But 'stubbron' is negative. His insistence may annoy a lot of people but it is interesting to some extent. I'd like to know if there's a descrition for it!!
Thank you for your help!

Hi
Here I've got some in the following, but I don't know if they do to help?
stand firm ( v phrase) : to refuse to change your opinion or plans even though other people are trying to make you.
dogged (adj) : dogged actions or behaviour show that you're very determined to continue doing sth, even though it's difficult or take a long time, and refuse to let others prevent you.

I have heard that the way to conjugate it is:
I am firm, you are stubborn, he is a blockhead.
I don't know if that helps.
How about persistent. Single-minded. Goal-oriented. Unwavering. Unswerving. Ambitious. Relentless. Unstoppable. Like a dog with a bone. Pigheaded. Stubborn as a mule. _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |
