Could you teach me how to change this sentence below with " if -clause".
[i]" I didn't know about the party. I wanted to go."[/i]
ex:
[i]" I wanted to buy that car, but I didn't have enough money then."[/i]
A: [u]If I had had more money, I'd have bought that car.[/u]
Is it a strange sentence if I say :
"If I had known about the party, I wouldn't have wanted to go." ? |

Hi
It might be:
If I had known about the party, I would have wanted to go.
=Had I known about the party, I would have wanted to go. |

Not if you didn't really want to go to the party. It would be better to say:
Even if I had known about the party, I wouldn't have wanted to go (anyway). |
