Hello, teachers!!
Peak performance is a concept borrowed from the world of sports and applied in many different ways in business and industry.

I can't understand the phrase "business and industry." I looked them up in the dictionary and found the meanings of the two words, but I am not sure.
My idea:
business: an assignment or task
industry: manufacture
Thank you in advance. |

I would go with the broad definition of 'business' here rather than specific. Business, commerce, trade, industry - they're all broad (and broadly related) terms that nonetheless have some specific nuances.

Dear EnglishRaven:
Thank you so much for your quick replies. It is too difficult for non-English speakers to define some English words to define.
Well, take care and have a great weekend. |
