Does the term "Productive chain" exist in English? If it doesn't, could you tell me which term would better fit the idea?

The "productive chains" comprehend all the articulated activities from the pre-production until the final consumption of an especif good or service.

I thought of terms such as: "Value chain", "Supply chain", "Economic system", but I'm not sure.

I would also ask you teachers to tell me if the text below makes sense to you. Sometimes I am not sure about the right word/expression to use, that's why some of the words follow in bold:

The study over the Carnival Economy Value Chain, based upon the transformation of Brazilian carnival into a business activity/ the Brazilian Carnival transformation into a business activity, had/has had the objective of assessing the carnival feasts capacity of generating earnings and job opportunities; identifying how intellectual rights are applied to this chain; evaluating the engagement/commitment of the public and private sectors to the financial and administrative structure of the feast; and prognosticating a possible development of the Access Group Schools parade as way of improving financial and economic earnings to these schools and to the business environment connected to them, as well as to the Rio de Janeiro city.

The study of the economic benefits resulting from the transformation of the Rio de Janeiro Carnival into a business activity has had the following objectives:
Assessing the earnings generated and the jobs created by the carnival.
Identifying the way that intellectual property rights are applied.
Evaluating the public and private sectors' financial and administrative support of the carnival.
Examining the possible development of the Access Group Schools parade as a way of improving financial support to these schools and to the businesses connected to them, as well as to the City of Rio de Janeiro.

I think economic benefits is what you are looking for.

Hi, PugachevV. Thanks for your reply. But I guess that "economic benefits" do not express the idea of an economic cycle, which is the main carachteristic of what I call "Productive Chain".
