Hi
1. Please help me verify whether the second it in the following quoted from newspaper talking about 'online banking' is unnecessary ?
Forty percent of those who said they had not yet tried Internet banking said they would give it a try it in the future.
2. If a man was killed by a spray bullet fired by a policeman, whether it meant that the man killed wasn't the target of that shooting , it was just a coincidence for him to be shot to his death by that policeman ?
Thanks for your help ! |

Pick one (either of these is correct):
they would give it a try in the future.
-or-
they would try it in the future.

Stray bullet (not spray bullet) is an accidental shot, not intential. |

Not a problem. We do use the expression spray of bullets if we are talking about many bullets being shot (like from a machine gun or from many guns used at the same time). |
