Both of the movie have been quite popular in Japan though, Very Happy
Demon and Devil as in the both movie title were translated into the same japanese word "Akuma". I also look up the words in a dictionary but it appears to me same meaning.

Do you have specific images or nuances of the two words for the people mother tougue is English? Question

Hiromi

The Devil is a specific being, the top villain of the underworld named Hell. Demons are little devlish creatures that help the Devil, sort of like angels but working for the wrong boss. The motorcycle gang known as Hell's Angels really are calling themselves demons.

Thank you for your clear explanation.
I 'm so jealous you are living in California, which has mild weather.
We are snowed in here in Tokyo area today.

Sincerely yours

Yes, we have fair weather most of the time in Southern California. But for the last two weeks it has been rainy and cold, and in fact it's raining right now. Earthquakes, mudslides, wildfires, storms, and cuckoo celebrities -- God certainly loves us here.
