I often find the expression like a " He got to his feet." or "He pushed himself to his feet."
Does this simply mean "He stood up" or "He got up"? |

Yes. But it can also be used figuratively, to mean that someone who was figuratively down was able to recover. _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |
