Hello, teachers.
My dictionary says that one of the meanings of "incur" is "to cause something undesirable" and show an example; "He incurred his wife's anger by arriving home late."
My question is "Can some affairs, matters, or things also incur something ? "
"His arriving home late incurred his wife's anger." is acceptable?
Thank you in advance!
