Is there anything worng in the above sentences?

(1) He failed in math. OK. Or: He failed math = did not receive a passing grade.
(2) He failed in the class. No. He failed the class = did not receive a passing grade.
(3) He flunked math. OK. Same as failed math.
(4) He flunked the test. OK. He did not pass; he failed the test.
