(1) He failed in math.
(2) He failed in the class.
(3) He flunked math.
(4) He flunked the test.
Is there anything worng in the above sentences?

(1) He failed in math. OK. Or: He failed math = did not receive a passing grade.
(2) He failed in the class. No. He failed the class = did not receive a passing grade.
(3) He flunked math. OK. Same as failed math.
