Hi,

If something is making strange sound at the moment, which of the following can we say?

a. I am hearing strange noise.
b. I hear strange noise.
c. I can hear strange noise.

Hi Takeda,

Try these:

I hear a strange noise. (right now)
I heard a strange noise. (after you heard the noise)

Sometimes, immediately after hearing the noise, we still say:
I hear a strange noise. (as if we were still hearing it)
