1.I experienced studying in U.S. last year.
2.The successful candidate will have strong creative skills by experiencing supervising international accounts.
First, is #1 correct grammatically? If so, is 'experience+verb+ing' used among native speakers?
Second, As which is 'supervising' in #2 used, 'adjective' or 'verb+ing'?
If it is used as 'adjective', what does it mean?
Thanks. |

.
The sentences are awkward but grammatically correct. The -ing forms are gerunds in both sentences, and are verb objects of experience.
Experience + doing, as I said, is awkward, and a native would most likely prefer, for instance:
1.I studied in the U.S. last year.
2.The successful candidate will have strong creative skills from supervision of international accounts.
