Hello Teachers,

Again would you please clarify me what do you mean by following phrase:

Pet peeve

A "pet peeve" is something that bothers or annoys somebody. It is usually something relatively minor, not something like TV commercials that annoy most people. People with a pet peeve are more likely to notice that thing and become annoyed, while others may not have a problem with it. For example, a pet peeve I have is useless apostrophes:

"We have video's for half price on Mondays and Tuesdays!"

(Of course, this is only if a *native* English speaker does this; learners are forgiven )
