Complete the conversation with the simple past or present perfect.
A: Have you ever tried horseback riding?
B: Yeah. I actually did it once several years ago.
A: Really? Did you like it?
B: No, not really. It was very scary.
A: Oh, too bad. I go all the time. I______________ (get) really good. [/u]

In the conversation above, the answer key for the blank is "I've gotten really good." It sounds a little awkward to me. what does it exactly mean? Do you use this expression often? If so, in what context do you use it? Also, could you find another example having "get + good"? Thank you much!

It means, over time I have become more skilled at riding.

If you practice your violin, you will really get good at it.

I got better at writing by writing something every day.
