More using as a adverb can modify another adverb, like a "Read a little more slowly." or "She drove more slowly than they"
I undstand this.
Why you woudn't say more better but would say much better.
More better is gramatically OK for me. |

More better is not correct. Better is the comparative form of the adjective good, so the element of more is already there. That is quite different from a word like slowly, which is an adverb.
