How can I say the # key and * key in a cellphone in English?

The # key is called the "pound" key.
The * key is called the "star" key.
The first one is very important when calling 1-800 (toll free) numbers for information, because many of the are automated.
They ask you to use the # key so that the computer will know when you have finished entering a number. The voice will say "Enter your....number followed by the pound key." |
