Dear Teachers,
I have to complete these second sentences so that they have a similar meaning to the first sentences. I have to use THE WORD GIVEN and other words including a modal verb to complete each sentence.
POSSIBLY
1. Surely she doesn't need an injection before she travels to America.
She ................................... going to America.
PERFECTLY
2. You aren't supposed to take aspirins if there's nothing wrong with you.
You ............................. all right.
STAY
3. The nurse wouldn't let him get out of bed.
He ............................ in bed.
(My guess is: He must stay in bed. but I'm not sure if the tense is correct.)
CURED
4. I'm sure that the doctor wasn't able to give you anything to make your cough better.
The doctor ................................ your cough.
(My guess: The doctor couln't have cured your cough.)
Thanks in advance |
