At my University, there is a subject called "Speaking Conversation".
Does "speaking conversation" necessarily mean "conversational English"?
And that also suggests that in this course, we'll learn skills like "agreeing and disagreeing", "interrupting" etc. in everday conversations (using informal English)?
Does this subject teach Ss how to show agreement/ disagreement or make interruptions in academic and professional settings (using formal English)?

Are you sure the course is not titled, "Speaking and Conversation"? That would make more sense. Then I suppose the course would cover both public speaking and personal conversations.
To be sure what the course covers, why not ask the instructor?
