1. BASE jumpers jump from heights much lower than skydivers.
2. BASE jumpers jump from much lower heights than skydivers.
Which one is better? Is there any difference in meaning? |

Both are all right, both mean the same thing, and both could be written / said with "do" at the end:
1. BASE jumpers jump from heights much lower than skydivers do.
