For the first group of sentences, the best one is change for.
Change into is acceptable. [/b]Change to would mean the five dollar bill becomes five one dollar bills, which is wrong, of course.
The second group has only one right answer, changed jeans for a suit. One possiblity though is you could say "She changed into a suit" It means she changed clothes, even though it may sound strange at first. |
