Is it possbile to rewrite the following sentences interchangeably? I think the second one sounds a little bit unnatural.
1. Nothing is more welcome to an old man like me than such a warm day as this.
2. Such a warm day as this is more welcome to an old man like me than anything [everything] else.
I would appreciate it if you could tell me. Thank you in advance. _________________ Koro |

#2 is OK, though #1 is more succinct. Better than both:
Nothing is more welcome to an old man like me than a warm day like this.
