Carnaval is an annual festival celebrated in most of Brazil�s cities. World-renowned Rio�s Carnaval is a four days festival which starts on Saturday and ends at Ash Wednesday, marking the start of Christian Lenten Season (period of forty days before Easter Sunday, a movable date based on the lunar calendar).
