Is it possible to paraphrase the way the author originally use.
1. he thought me to be rude.
2. he thought that I was rude.
If I am OK with saying these, what defference does it make?

Hello Hiromi -
Yes..sounds okay to me and does not seem to imply any difference in meaning (only 'structure').
Philo
btw - '..the authors' original use(age).' - '..used originally by the author.' |
