I can't understand the meaning of the sentence"Tim must learn to conduct himself around his elders." Could you explain it for me.

Hello Rae -
Are you sure it isn't 'how to conduct himself' or 'conduct himself ____' ?
It means to 'behave' - be 'well mannered', 'respectful', etc.
