Someone who is good in history, please help.
A prominent leader of the former Soviet Union in 1987 joined the popes of Rome in expressing support for the UN. He even called for "a comprehensive system of international security" based on the UN.
1. Who is this leader on 1987? Is that Gor-by??
2. What is this "comprehensive system of international security" called?

It 's Mikhail Sergeivitch Gorbachev.
