In your opinion you think
1.What is language?
2.What does someone know when they know a language?
3.Do talking animals such as parrots possess the same languages as humans'?
4.What is grammar. _________________ zip |

Wow, these sound like questions from an applied linguistics course.
1. There is some debate surrounding the definition of language. Most people would agree that it can be written or spoken but there is also sign language or body language. A general definition might be: language is meaningful communication using a variety of methods to transfer ideas or feelings.
2. By default then, when someone knows a language they know how to communicate.
3. I would have to say that no, animals do not possess the same language capabilities as humans. There have been several tests using chimps to try to find out the extent of animal language ability however the results are inconclusive.
4. Grammar can be defined in many ways. One might be: grammar is a set of rules or guides to the structure of language.
Good luck,
