Hi Everybody,
which sentence is correct?
Two passengers of the plane that CRASHED three years ago on the island of Borneo were found alive.
or
Two passengers of the plane that HAD CRASHED three years ago on the island of Borneo were found alive.
The crash occured two hours after TAKE OFF.
or
The crash occured two hours after THE TAKE OFF.
Rescue teams found no sign that anyone SURVIVED.
or
Rescue teams found no sign that anyone HAD SURVIVED.

As a general rule, use the past participle form if you have additional information or show a change of condition. |
