I'm trying to put a Japanese sentence into English. It's a stand-alone sentence, without context. The following are what I have made.

1. You can see beautiful lavenders in Furano, Hokkaido.
2. You can see beautiful lavender in Furano, Hokkaido.

My preference is #1, but I'm wondering which, #1 or #2 above, is more natural.

Lavender is always lavender, never lavenders. I'm not sure whether you could tell that from checking the dictionary.
