Are both "cultivate/cultivating" correct in the following sentence?

Devote some of your free time to (cultivate/cultivating) a love of reading good books. |

| No, only �� to cultivating ...� Here�to� is not a marker of the infinitive but a preposition. What follows the preposition has to be a noun or a noun phrase. |
