1. It's all *grown up*. There are weeds, and grass, and rocks.
Is there another adjective to describe a garden that hasn't been visited by a gardener?
2.Does *I'll say* mean *I agree*?
Thank you all |

1. Usually we say "all grown up" to mean a child has become an adult, or something like that. When we are talking about grass and weeds, we usually say the yard or the field is all grown over with weeds, etc. It is a neglected garden, an unkempt garden.
2. Yes, meaning, "I'll say the same thing." Emphasis on the first word.
"That movie sure was dull."

To expand on what CP has written, a garden that is out of control can also becalled "over-grown."
CP gave a great example on how "I'll say" can be the same as "I agree." It's a casual way of letting someone know you feel the same way. |
