| In Africa, many parents cannot afford the uniforms. Each child may only have one uniform, which looks worn out by the end of the year. It becomes obvious which students are poor, and they are often bullied. |
1. Is the bold 'It becomes obvious which students are poor' correct grammatically? I think that 'It becomes obvious about which students are poor.' is correct instead. Can you inform me if I'm right?
2. There are some sentences using 'obvious' which I made for your correction. Can you correct me if there is mistakes?
1). It was obvious that he was lying.
2). The story becomes obvious who is wrong.
3). The story becomes obvious what I said.
4). The incident becomes obvious who you are.
Thanks. |

No, the original sentence is correct.
2. There are some sentences using 'obvious' which I made for your correction. Can you correct me if there is mistakes?
1). It was obvious that he was lying. CORRECT!
2). The story becomes obvious who is wrong. Correct, but you might need to add more information to complete the sentence: "As the story unfolds, it becomes obvious who is wrong."
3). The story becomes obvious what I said. Incorrect--this is confusing. Do you mean to say, "As I spoke, the story became obvious."?
4). The incident becomes obvious who you are. Incorrect--I'm not sure what this means. Are you trying to say, "The incident revealed a lot about your personality." ?
Please let me know if I can help you more with this! |
