Please tell me if a native speaker accepts:
achieve+that
He wanted to achieve that she would realze how he was feeling.
Please tell me if it`s a serious mistake or not. |

Not quite sure about your continued use of 'serious mistake or not' -
but...as written, your example 'sounds' a bit clumsy/stilted.
How about something like -
'He wanted to achieve the result of her realizing how he was feeling.'
'He wanted to succeed in making (helping) her realize how he was feeling.'
do either of the examples convey the intended meaning?
'What in the world'... are you working on?? Philo |
