Hi Everybody,
this sentence is about Montatna in the US:
"On the dude ranch I was bringing the powder to the cowboys."
What does "powder" mean here? Snow?

The answer must be in the context of the writing somewhere. Maybe it's gunpowder the cowboys need??? I doubt it is snow. What's the book or article you are reading?
