I always want to be smart and strong, so I start to train myself to obtain skills or knowledge. Since I was young, I did some training for myself to be better. I remember learning English, practicing basketball skills, and training muscle body were the three training that I used to do. And none of them were easy to overcome.
The first training was learning English. English is absolutely difficult for me because I am the man whose English is the second language. As I live in the United States, it is always required me to know English well in order to get a good job and to have a better life. So I tried my best to study. Finally, my English has gotten better than before. However, I now think I have to try harder in order to be competent in English.
Beside the goal of becoming a competent English speaker, I always dreamed to be a professional basketball player. So I joined a basketball team to have a chance to play with different players and to develop my skills. With my teammates, I started to practice my basketball skills such as dribbling, shooting, handling, and rebounding. The practices were very hard for me because I have a low stamina. But I didnt give up easily, I tried hard and harder. In the end, I felt my skills improved.
Having big muscle is helpful to me because I am a basketball player who need to be strong in order to play well. I am a very weak person. I cant even lift seventy pounds dumbbell. Thus I begin working out in the gym three times a week to gain my muscle. And I finally reached my goal that I became stronger than ever. I could lift more than one hundred pounds.
In conclusion, I think I am not only one who train to be better, but also everyone. Since I start to train myself, I learn and gain something. Although it is very hard at first, however, it is easy at last.
