I've never fogotten those words, nor the beautiful college boy who
spoke them. He died last year, after giving me four wonderful children
and 49 of the happiest years of my lile. Sign me...
What does"Sign me" mean?
Thank you for your help. _________________ youngdog |

Hello!
"Sign me" is often used in Dear Abby, or other columns in newspapers where people are seeking advice. Instead of writing their real names, they make up a phrase to express how they feel.
From reading what the phrase says before "Sign Me," I'm guessing that the writer wrote something like: Sign me Fond Memories, or Sign me Sad, or Sign me Missing Him.
Here's another example:
Dear Abby,
I try to be nice to everyone at work, but no one will talk to me. What can I do?
Sign me Puzzled
OR
Sign me Left Out
Does that make sense? |

Thank you for your kind reply.
As you pointed out, WILBUR'S WIDOW IN ARIZONA is written
at the end of the sentences. _________________ youngdog |
