My topic is not as serious as many other topics in this forum, but I didn't really know where it would fit in, since the threat "cinema" is dedicated to movies not to comedies.

However, what I wanted to ask is:

Do you know the American comedy "FRIENDS" ?
Do you like it as much as I do? Question

I must say that I do not like this comedy anymore since I've started watching it in English. I think it's more interesting when it's in French. I don't know why, but maybe it's because French is my first language. Looks like you like it very much...

Oh, well, I like it. I would not say, that I'm crazy about it, but I like watching it though. Very Happy

I live in Germany and the problem is that they only air it German, whereas I'd like to see it in English Confused

Unfortunately I've never seen it in French, therefore I can't compare. Smile

But why do u think the English version is bad? Question

I like it so much that I have a time I found myself addicted to it. It is so relaxing while you watch it. I am a Hong Konger. I watch it in English. I think it doesn't have Chinese edition. Anyway, English edition doesn't hamper me liking it. Wink

i like the serie very much , all the actors are funny , but my al time favourite is Chandler he's always making yokes and he is verry silly.
Phoebie is the weard one of the group, she's always telling thing that don't make any sense . I don't understand the relationship between Ross and rachel , one time there are best friends and then the other time they hate each other Question

I LOVE FRIENDS more than any show in this world... My fav people are Ross Gellar and Rachel Green.... They do look so cute together, smart, and so funny....... Plus Emma is so cute..... Let's talk about FRIENDS ok??? Even when it's finished, how could we forget a great show like that????

I really like the show, I used to watch it all the time and I managed to tape all the episodes of the first eight seasons. I kind of stopped watching it awhile ago, but I still enjoy it. Chandler is my favorite character, because my sens of humor is very similar to his.

I love so much watching this comedy, in fact, from time to time I am used to watch again. I not used to watched in my own language when it was being showed on TV and after that I had watched in english. It has been a good help to improve my listening in english.

I am a fan of this comedy too! "Friends" are also very popular here in Taiwan. I started watching this show from its episodes of the fourth season because most of my coworkers were always talking about it. Then, I have fallen in love with it since I first watched it. Watching this show has a magical power to reduce my work pressure, which is more effective than any other ways! There is no Chinese-speaking version of "Friends" here in Taiwan, so we could only watch English version. Frankly, I would rather watch English version than Chinese one since I could sense more about the six roles in this comedy. I don't know whether a better TV comedy will occur in the future, but I will always remember this one since it has touched my heart so much!

I love Friends.
This is my favorite TV series.
It's so hilarious and amusing.
I love characters and stories.
Every character's personality is unique.
Their body language and actions are so funny.
I often laugh when I watch it.
This is the best situation comedy.

FRENDS? Sorry , I haven't watched it . May be , it's a interesting comedy . But in my opinion , happiness is the purpose among the most comedys . Razz
