Hello,
Could you explain about this:
"The water was still and cool."
Here does "cool" mean just "chilled" or "not warm"?
Could it have any other meaning here?

"Cool" in this case is simply about the temperature...not warm, but not so cold either.
It doesn't have any other meanings...but I also have the impression that it is calm. It is not an extreme temperature and nothing is moving (still) so things are neutral.
