Shun and Ba went back to see their master. The master was crying. He groaned how they could cross the river. Shun told Ba to lead the demon out of the river. Ba dived into the water. The demon saw him and said to him sardonically. He said this time I would kill you. They had about 30 rounds. Ba wanted to get out the water. The demon chased him to the shore. Then Shun struked him at the back.
Am I using 'sardonically' ?
Thank you |

I suppose your question is "Am I using sardonically correctly?" Sardonically is being used correctly but it is not a very common word to use.
Your sentence needs to be fixed too. We need to know what the demon said in the same sentence.
The demon saw him and said sardonically, "This time I will kill you".
This part is also not clear:
He groaned how they could cross the river.
I am not sure what you mean by this sentence.
I hope this helps.
