What is "La-Z-Boy position"?

Astronomically, Earth's a little off-kilter, rotating on its axis at an incline, or tilt, of 23.5 degrees. Why the La-Z-Boy position?

La-Z-Boy (lazy boy) is a brand of furniture, mostly overstuffed recliner chairs and sofas. Although you can sit in a La-Z-Boy like any other easy chair, usually people put it in the reclining position, with the back tilted back and the lower front part raised to serve as a nice leg- and footrest.

The writer is comparing the tilt of the Earth on its axis (relative to the Sun), which gives us the four seasons as the Earth rotates around the Sun, with the tilted-back position of sitting in a La-Z-Boy.
