Dear teachers:
(a) I believe I am able to handle the cases of your company.
(b) I believe I am able to handle your company's cases.
Which one is more natural? Thanks. |

Hello!
I think the second sentence is more natural. Imagine there is a lawyer telling a client I am able to handle the cases of your company. As he puts the cases before the company that shows that he is more interested in the cases that in the company.
If he says: I am able to handle your company's cases. The company is put before the cases, so the lawyer shows an interest for the company first and then for the cases.
In a bussiness language it's better to talk like in the second sentence. _________________ http://chocolate-diet.sylickon.com |
