Taiwans Festival- The Moon Festival

The moon festival is a distinctive festival, and it is also my favorite festival. Moon Festival is the very special day in Taiwan because it has some specific traditional customs. In this festival, we eat moon cakes and populaces, and my family has a dinner for reunion to celebrate the anniversary day. Eating moon cakes means all families can go home to have reunions, and the moon cake is very delicious! Eating populaces means to pray for good luck. As a consequence, we also hope to get the good luck from God. These are very meaningful traditions that we have followed. Besides, we eat barbeque and appreciate the moon at the same time. What a wonderful thing! In recent years, because the governments policy of Sat, Sun Closed, we have more chances to arrange our holiday to do some activities. For example, we can go to a small trip to relax ourselves or stay at home to take a rest. In my family, we usually have barbeques during the precious holiday because we all love to eat barbeque very much. In my opinion, the Moon Festival isnt just a festival but a chance let my family to have a reunion. Besides, it is also a chance to establish my familys affection more close. That is why I love the festival very much. Consequently, we should continually follow the Moon Festivals traditions and never let it fail to be handed down from past generations.
