Hi,
Here is a quote from the sitcom "friends".
"I just met you. I don't know you from Adam." My question is: Does the sentece "I don't know you from Adam" have any specific meaning?

"I don't know you from Adam" is an expression that means you don't know a person at all, the person is a stranger.
My guess is that "Adam" is probably referring to the Biblical Adam, the first man, according to the Bible.
So it makes sense from your quote. If someone says "I just met you", they definitely don't know the person at all.
