I challenged Dr. Carver to deny his involvement! |
What does it mean?
Does it mean that 'I asked Dr. Carver to deny his involvement.' or 'I asked Dr. Carver not to deny his involvement.'?
Can you tell me what it means?
Thanks. |

The person speaking probably had evidence that proved that Dr.Carver was involved. Because of this, it would be a challenge for him to deny his involvement.
So depending on the context, the speaker may have presented the evidence or simply asked Dr.Carver if he was involved.
Hope this helps! |
